bravo :D
direi un risultato spettacolare :D

un suggerimento: mentre la telecamera passa dentro un asteroide si vede per un attimo nero come se si fosse all'interno :D

It's so funny... you're only 1 person and making a "quick little" tribute to Elite and it's actually shaping up to become even more polished and finished than many other spacegames ever were, even though those were created by more than one person. As of now, you are probably closest to a finished Elite clone than any other developer is. Sure, there's the very good looking Infinity Quest for Earth but it's nowhere near finished and while your game is nowhere near finished either, at least I'm seeing very good progress on your blogs and at least you provide info, movies and screenshots on a very very regular basis. I've been following your work and have commented on it quite a few times now and I think it's safe to say you, officially, have at least one fan, being myself :-)

Thank you very much.

I would have just time for compete it... but my jobs leave me no time :(

By the way, Pidgi, have you seen this topic on the Ogre forums?

http://www.ogre3d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=49849

These guys are working on their own Ogre version of 3D realtime procedural planet rendering. Maybe you could team up with them :-)

They also have their own website:

http://www.titaniumarts.com.au/

They have a demo of their work. It's an old version but it looks kinda nice. I would love to see planets you can land on in Tau Ceti! But maybe you're working, or plan on working, on something like this yourself?

Very impressive demo.

Glowing dust in asteroid fields would make it interesting..

Opensource game?

Vegastrike is attempting to move to ogre, and has been waiting for a while, with one attempt that didn't work well. They are also attempting procedural planets and would be very interested in code sharing.

Te creo, junto con el dinero de varios gazillion de inversión que wikipedia podría adquirir algunos servidores mucho más.

Some others have already managed to implement procedural planets, in a very similar and opensource project.
